The Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager who’s looking to take on their next challenge in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly growing team. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and eager to have a positive impact throughout the business. You will work alongside the leadership team, and be the main point of contact for HR-related queries.
Daily Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve supporting our team across all HR matters while building robust processes to ensure that we continue to deliver best-in-class services to our clients. You will play a key role in developing the company culture, and improving the workplace for everyone. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Management and execution of all people-related processes, including recruitment, new starters, leavers, reviews, and further development.
- Manage and assist with ER-related issues.
- Respond to day-to-day queries and requests from employees (e.g. pay, attendance, policy guidance)
- Management and upkeep of employee records, and our HR systems.
- Manage our monthly payroll alongside our accounting partners.
- Assist with the general management of the office.
- Collect data, derive metrics, and produce reports for the leadership team.
- Ensuring company-wide compliance with processes, data protection requirements, employment regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Achieved a CIPD Level 3, or working towards a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (potential for further training to level 7)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal (English required, Welsh is a bonus).
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage your own workload, and organisational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Employment Law, and HR Practice knowledge.
- Experience with managing people, teams and working as a part of one.
- Be able to commute and be present in our Swansea Office.
Nice to Haves
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent.
- Experience in a stand-alone HR role within the gaming, media, or technology industry.
- Commercially minded with a proactive mindset.
- An understanding and passion for the gaming and media industry.
